Brennan<\/a> and published together with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalculture.org\/\">University of Michigan Press&#8217;s Digital Culture Books<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This site contains the current draft and is open for peer review completed in July 2014, so I rely on you all as my readers and reviewers. I wish to collect commentary on my arguments, sources, chapter organization, and relationship to other scholarship in the field. Historians, philatelists, and postal enthusiasts are welcome to discuss in this space.<\/p>\n<p>An open access version, with a CC-BY-NC license, will always reside at this URL even when edited hard copies and e-books are available for purchase from University of Michigan Press.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stamping American Memory<\/em> is published using the <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\">WordPress<\/a> platform together with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futureofthebook.org\/commentpress\/\">CommentCore suite of addons<\/a>, developed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futureofthebook.org\/\">Institute for the Future of the Book<\/a>. With CommentPress, readers may comment on each paragraph, and have conversations in that space. Since images are important pieces of evidence, I added images as their own paragraphs so that readers may discuss them. I included some images as illustrations that are nestled the text, rather than living within their own paragraph, &lt;p&gt;, tags.
